We love fishing so much we bought a camp close to our friends at Penobscot River Cabins and planned some great bass and trout fishing trips for you. We are located right between the Piscataquis and the Penobscot rivers and close to South Branch Lake, Cold Stream Pond and 11 other premier lakes in our area. Fishing here can't get any better. If you love fishing all day then join Bonnie or Eric this year for some fishing lessons, and be the first ones to stay and enjoy a weekend on the river in our new cabin.

Old fashioned country breakfasts, afternoon barbecues and nightly marshmallow roasts around the campfire will delight your taste buds during the week. At Penobscot River Cabins you can fish for small mouth bass, take a boat ride on the river, see eagles nesting up close, play a game of horseshoes or throw some hoops. Plenty of outdoor activities await you. We have made this a wheelchair friendly vacation for our customers but we have limited wheelchair sleeping accommodations. So book early.

We will be camping for the second year at Lamoine State Park right next to Maine’s exquisite Bar Harbor and popular Acadia National Park. We will set up our camp site overlooking the Atlantic’s majestic rugged coast line. At the state park there are lovely nature trails to hike, picnic areas, or swimming at the beach. It’s the perfect spot to watch the lobster boats or hypnotic rhythms of sailboats cruising by. We will enjoy a succulent lobster dinner, toasted marshmallows at the campfire, a trip up Cadillac Mountain, visits to the shops in Bar Harbor

Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons National Parks

We fly into Salt Lake City, pick up our rental and head out to the two most beautiful National Parks in the US. In Yellowstone we will visit national historical landmarks, Old Faithful, Canyon and Mammoth Hot Springs. We will take a historical tour at Fort Yellowstone which details the history of the National Park. Then we will head South to the Grand Tetons for a 13 Mile Scenic Float Trip. Our experienced guide will offer a wealth of knowledge on the unique history of the Tetons and Jackson Hole as he floats us down the beautiful, braided Snake River that runs through the majestic Teton Range. Get ready to take in the beautiful views of the Tetons as well as local wildlife including moose, elk, deer, beaver, otter, or a very abundant population of bald eagles.
We will visit Jackson Hole Historical Museum that was founded over 50 years ago by collector Slim Lawrence and entrepreneur Homer Richards, the Museum is a place where the Old West is still alive. The exhibits capture the spirit and the culture of the early days of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and the Yellowstone region, featuring an outstanding collection of American Indian artifacts, as well as fur trade era tools and firearms, and items from the ranching and pioneer days.
